At Stichting Hunto’s day shelter in Meiveld, clients recently took part in a creative and therapeutic kite-making activity—an experience that was both fun and meaningful.
Under the guidance of our team, participants designed and built their own kites, an exercise that encouraged focus, creativity, and teamwork. The activity also provided an opportunity for self-expression, as each kite became a unique reflection of its creator.
Once completed, the group headed to a nearby field, where they watched their kites take flight. The sight of their creations soaring in the sky brought a sense of pride, joy, and freedom, reinforcing the deeper message behind the activity: just like kites, with the right support, people can rise above challenges and embrace new possibilities.
At Stichting Hunto, we believe that small, engaging activities like these can have a lasting impact on personal growth and recovery. By combining creativity with therapy, we continue to offer our clients opportunities to develop resilience and build brighter futures.
